Three steps.
One click.

No configuration, no setup, no learning curve. Binly works the moment you install it.

01

Install Binly

Download the DMG, open DaVinci Resolve, and find Binly in your Workspace → Scripts menu. No configuration needed.

02

Click Sort

Hit the Sort button. Binly scans your entire media pool — filenames, metadata, extensions — and classifies every clip instantly.

03

Edit faster

Your bins are labeled, your clips are where you expect them. Start editing immediately without hunting through an unorganized pool.

Built for how
editors actually work.

Smart enough to handle messy projects, flexible enough to learn your style.

Smart bin sorting

Binly uses heuristics — not just extensions — to classify clips. A .mp4 from a DJI drone gets filed under Drone, not just Video. Screenshots land in Screenshot, not Image.

Smart review queue

Ambiguous clips get flagged for you to review, not blindly placed. Binly knows what it doesn't know.

Learns from corrections

Move a clip to a different bin and Binly remembers. Over time, it gets better at matching your personal workflow.

Non-destructive

Binly only creates and moves bins inside Resolve. Your original files on disk are never touched or moved.

Common
questions.

This is normal for Mac apps not distributed through the App Store. Right-click (or Control-click) the Binly app in Finder and choose Open from the menu. A dialog will appear asking if you're sure — click Open. macOS will remember your choice and you won't see this again.
No. Binly only creates and organizes bins inside DaVinci Resolve's Media Pool. Your files on disk stay exactly where they are, with the same names. Nothing is ever moved, renamed, or deleted from your hard drive.
After installing, go to Workspace → Scripts in the Resolve menu bar. Binly will appear in that list. Click it to launch the sorting panel.
Not yet — Binly is macOS only for now. Windows support is planned for a future release. If you're on Windows, join the waitlist and we'll let you know when it's ready.
No account needed. Download Binly and you get 5 full sorts for free — no credit card, no email. Once you've used your 5 sorts and want unlimited access, you can upgrade to Pro.
One-time payment. Pay $39 once and you own Binly Pro forever, including all future updates. No recurring fees, ever.
